Last year
Samsung introduced it's flexible SUPER AMOLED Screen in CES 2011. This
flexible screen was tremendous. Not just flexible and transparent but
also SUPER AMOLED proved to be a futuristic gadget.
Now, rumors have spread that Samsung is going to introduce its world's first flexible SUPER AMOLED touchscreen smartphone this year y the end of 2012. It's name will be Samsung Galaxy Skin but rumors are also that Samsung gonna introduce this technology in Samsung Galaxy S III first.
Not
just flexible display Samsung may introduce world's first 2.0 GHz
processor and 2 GB of RAM. Samsung Galaxy Skin would have 4'' WVGA SUPER
AMOLED flexible display, 1GB of RAM and 1.2 GHz processor. It would
have 16GB & 32GB memory option but no SD card support. 8 MP
autofocus camera with with stop motion, Panorama shot, action shot,
sport auto focus and self shot and VGA camera at front for video
calling. Other features include Bluetooth version 3.0 connectivity,
Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and high speed USB version 2.0.
Specifications
could be different but one thing is clear by this technology it would
effect the other gadgets. May be a time come when flexible and just few
centimeters TV will replace the LED's or LCD or may be Desktops.
